Our Mission

To grow a spiritual community that fosters the formation of heaven within each person through studying, contemplating, and living the Word of the Lord.

The Lord's New Church believes:

    The Lord Jesus Christ is the One God of Heaven and Earth.

    Good actions ought to be done and they are done when we avoid doing what is hurtful and do what is good and useful to our neighbor. The Ten Commandments teach what evils are not to be done.

    All people live after death in heaven or in hell.

    The Lord condemns no one to hell. People choose by the lives they live and the choices they make whether they will live in Heaven or in Hell.

    People were created to be useful to others.

    The life that leads to Heaven consists in doing what is useful to others. The life that leads to hell consists in doing only what is self-centered.

    Marriage, when there is True Love, is eternal and continues in Heaven. 

    The Second Coming of the Lord has already taken place. The Lord has made His Second Coming in a New Revelation that teaches about Him, the life after death, and the truths that are contained within His Word.
